At Los Angeles BMW auto dealers, your favorite Beamer is just waiting to be brought home today. In 1917, a little known company known as the Bavarian Motor Works was created. From its unique creation of airplane engines, it has stemmed into a producer of fine luxury motorcycles and expensive cars for the whole world.

BMW has created many different cars for any and all individual needs and wants at their BMW car dealers. There are many different series available depending on what you are looking for. The 1 series is perfect for an introductory vehicle from BMW. In production since 2004, it accounts for nearly one fifth of all BMW sales worldwide. It is also the number two seller of all BMW models.

The next in the number series is the BMW 3 series. The 3 series is by far the best selling of all BMW models. In 2012, a newer face-lifted body model of the 3 series will be coming out. In North America alone, there are over 8 different variants of the 3 series all having different options available.

BMW’s 5 series is next in the line-up, offered as an executive, mid-sized sedan. Available in different models such as wagon, sedan and progressive activity sedan, there is a model to meet every need. It was tested by the insurance Institute for Highway Safety and earned best pick for impressive performance in the frontal offset crash test. The overall design for newer 5 series models is based off of Adrian Von Hooydonk’s design with a more prominent grill and less rear end styling.

The 6 series is the second most expensive offering from BMW. It is available as a coupe or a convertible. Its design has been accredited to looking much like a shark. It was first produced in early 2003. It is available in many different engine variants and is second in price only to the 7 series. Production has since ended for this model since the year 2010.

The last but not least of the numbered series is the 7 series. It is the flagship of BMW and for that, the most expensive of all BMWs. It is available in a plethora of different engine models and includes a Hybrid version that produces 15kw and 20 hp. All 7 series come with an immense amount of safety features built into their pricing.

After the numbered series comes the x and z series. These consist of mostly Suvs. The z series is the only roadster while the first up in the x series is the X1. This car takes the chassis of the 3 series and utilizes a compact station wagon cabin. Until 2013, it will be unavailable in the United States.

Next in line is the x3 series, another SUV model. Along with a few other BMWs, it is also produced in North America. The X3 is one of the most efficient and economical, mid sized off-roader featuring all wheel drive.

Next up is the X series model. These are all along the lines of SUV type cars and are amazing drives. The x3 model is very efficient and economical as far as mpg and cost go. It is a mid sized off-roader and features all wheel drive all the time. This specific model is also produced in North America.

Lastly, in the BMW x series is the x6. It is a mid-sized luxury crossover. It resembles a coupe with the stance of an SUV. Debuting in 2007, it was first produced in 2008. The x6 series is built in North America. The x6 series was used as a safety car in MotoGP in 2009 in Qatar.
